Qopper

Terms of service

What we give you, what we expect from you, and where the limits are on each side. No fine print, because there is no fine print.

1.What Qopper is

Qopper is a customer service agent. It receives what your customers write by chat, WhatsApp or email; looks for the answer in the policies and knowledge you give it; looks up and acts on the systems you connect; and hands off to your team whatever it shouldn't resolve on its own.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you represent that you can bind it.

2.Your account

You need an account to use the service, and you are responsible for what is done from it. If someone on your team leaves the company, remove their access: we have no way of knowing.

You must provide accurate information. An account with false information will be suspended.

3.What Qopper cannot be used for

Subscribing to the service does not authorize using it for the following:

  • Sending unsolicited messages to anyone who hasn't written to you or given you permission.
  • Impersonating another company or another person.
  • Uploading data you have no right to, or asking the agent to process especially sensitive categories (health, ideology, biometrics) without the legal basis to do so.
  • Trying to access another customer's data, getting around usage limits, or taking the service apart to replicate it.
  • Anything illegal where you operate.

4.What the agent does, and what it doesn't

This section is the most important one and almost nobody writes it, so we do.

The agent replies on its own and runs real actions on your systems: it can look up an order, cancel an appointment or refund an amount. How far it goes is up to you: which actions it is allowed, with what money limit, and what needs a person's approval. Those limits are respected.

When the agent says it did something, it is because it checked it afterwards against the system where it did it. If an action runs in test mode, it is marked as such and is never communicated as real.

That said: it is an automated system and it can make mistakes. It can misunderstand a question, or give an imprecise answer based on incomplete knowledge. That is why the limits and the handoff to your team exist, and why reviewing what the agent does on your behalf is your responsibility. We are not responsible for business decisions you make based on what the agent says.

5.Your data is yours

What you upload and what your customers write belongs to you. We don't sell it, we don't use it to train models, and we don't show it to anyone.

You give us just the permission needed to provide the service: to store it, process it and show it to you. Nothing more, and only while you are a customer.

How we handle that data is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

6.Price and payment

The price and what each plan includes are published before you subscribe. Payment is in advance, per period.

If we change the price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and the change applies at your next renewal, never in the middle of a period you have already paid for.

If payment is not made, we suspend the service. We will warn you first and give you time to sort it out.

7.Availability

We work to keep this up at all times, but we don't promise a percentage we can't sustain. There will be maintenance, and we will announce it when we can foresee it.

Part of the service depends on third parties: the model provider, WhatsApp, your email. If one of them goes down, Qopper degrades with it, and that is beyond our control.

8.The extent of our liability

We are liable for what we get wrong, up to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the event.

We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. None of this limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as willful misconduct.

9.Ending

You can leave whenever you want: the service continues until the end of the paid period and does not renew. Before you leave, ask for your data; after 30 days it is gone.

We can close your account if you breach the usage section or stop paying. Unless it is serious and urgent, we will warn you first.

10.Changes to these terms

If we change something relevant, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can leave before it takes effect and we will refund the part of the period you haven't used.
